Influence is not centered on the selfish persona. It displays how our personal and spiritual growth in Christ guides our outward actions.
Influence is a form of service, molded directly by our character. Poor character results in negative influence, while good character results in positive influence. In both cases, our influence should align with the beliefs we profess.
Don’t allow questionable character traits to expose you for all the wrong reasons. Let your private devotions match your public display. And vice versa.
Living out life with integrity doesn’t mean perfection. Instead, it means managing yourself well with a spirit of excellence. It is not perfectionism. This is not about striving, but about learning to rest in God, not in our own abilities.
What we manage and how we manage should be fruitful and multiply. It should bring glory to God. The beauty of holiness should be showcased in your life. Our influence becomes a testimony of God’s grace and transformative power in our lives.
May integrity and good character continue to shape us in our daily living. This is the character called Influence.
