Speak Life Over Your Limbic System

Hello Leader,

Do you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month?

Speak over your limbic system title.

Ever wondered how you can take control of your emotions and mental well-being? Let's delve into the fascinating world of the Limbic System.

So, what is the Limbic System, and what is it responsible for?

The Limbic System is a part of your brain structure and neural network responsible for emotional processing, memory formation, motivation and drive, behavioral regulation, and social behavior. It is the brain's emotional control center.

How to Speak Over Your Limbic System

Here are a few examples of how to speak life to your Limbic System:

  1. Embrace the power of thanksgiving. Acknowledge God as your Creator and the one who established your Limbic System. Thank God for your Limbic System operating as God purposed it to do in perfection and fullness of functionality on Earth as it is in Heaven.

  2. Ask the LORD to give each area of your brain's emotional center what it needs for the day.

  3. Seek God's forgiveness for sin, fear, doubt, and unbelief. Trust in His power and His promises. While medical and mental health professionals are valuable, remember that your journey doesn't end with a diagnosis or treatment. Let God have the final say, not people (including yourself). Entrust all your anxieties and concerns to Him, for He cares for you.

  4. Praise God for all glory, honor, and worship belong to Him. For His kingdom has no end. And the kingdom of God is now and near. It is time to rise and stand on the Rock that is higher than yourself and cast down every vain imagination and anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Make your thoughts subject to the obedience of Christ.

  5. Find scriptures on healing to cling to during recovery and strengthening. For the arrow of the LORD is victory!

God's Word to Speak Over Your Limbic System

Living in divine alignment and order with God's Word is vital. Scriptures are a Living Testament to the promises we have been granted as children part of the kingdom of God. It's one thing to read or study verses and passages in the Bible; it is another level of commitment to believe what you are reading and receiving by faith.

Here are a few scriptures to speak over your limbic system:

*All scriptures are in the New Living Translation*

  1. Romans 8:6, "So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace."  Proclaim: The Spirit of God controls my mind and leads me to life and peace.

  2. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, "Always be joyful." Proclaim: I will rejoice in my Lord God and have an attitude of gratitude.

  3. Psalm 23:6, "You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings." Proclaim: Thank you Lord, for anointing me daily with fresh oil. Protection, healing, strength, grace, and provision I receive.

  4. James 1:19, "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." Proclaim: Self-control is a fruit of righteousness. I will practice attentive listening, wise speech, and patient endurance so that my witness for Christ will not be discredited.

  5. Genesis 1:27, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Proclaim: I am created by God. He knows and has formed every intricate detail of me. I am not a mistake. My spirit, soul, and body were created to glorify God.

You have the same authority that Christ Jesus has. He has given it to you. So, take authority over your body and command the Limbic System to submit to your Lord and Savior. There is no reason for delay. By faith, do it today!
